Du & Oracle to launch hyperscale cloud services for UAE’s public sector

Oracle and du (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company), one of the largest telecom operators in the Middle East, have collaborated to deploy Oracle Alloy to help launch hyperscale cloud services for public sector customers in Dubai and Northern Emirates.

Oracle Alloy is a complete cloud infrastructure platform that enables Oracle partners to become cloud providers.

A partnership framework was signed at the Oracle CloudWorld Tour Dubai by Jasim AlAwadi, Chief ICT Officer (Acting), du and Nick Redshaw, Senior Vice President of cloud technology, and UAE country leader, Oracle.

Nick Redshaw said that, “Oracle Alloy is a key component of Oracle’s distributed cloud strategy, which aims to give our partners and customers more choice in how they build, deploy, and operate cloud services. With its strong customer network and local capabilities, du is well positioned to help the Dubai and Northern Emirates governments harness the high performance, flexibility, security, and scalability offered by OCI.”
