Dubai-based Danube Properties will issue and award the main construction contract for its 550-million-UAE-dirham ($149.76 million) residential tower Elitz in Jumeirah Village Circle in March 2023, the developer said in a statement sent to Zawya Projects.

The tender for enabling works will be issued and awarded in January 2023, the statement said, adding that tenders are under preparation.

Located on a plot of 36,930 square feet (sq ft) at Jumeirah Village Circle, the twin-tower project will have a built-up area of 695,000 sq ft, housing 553 residential units, and a podium with car parking, community facilities and 284 retail units.

The current development portfolio of Danube Properties exceeds 8,779 units, with a combined sales value of over AED6.75 billion.  The developer has so far delivered 4,556 units with an aggregate sales value of AED3.63 billion, which is more than half of the entire portfolio value, according to previous statements.
