Manama, Mar.19 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani urged joint work to revitalize the national economy during the post-pandemic period.
“Bahrain has taken important and proactive steps in the context of economic recovery through programs that have been implemented on more than one track”, he said.
In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), he stressed the importance of harnessing the efforts of Government agencies and the private sector to support the national economy.
Speaking on the sidelines of the 30th Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) board elections, he said that Bahrain is in the process of restructuring the economy and organizing priorities to advance the national economy.
He stressed the Government’s success in containing the crisis caused by the pandemic, which affected the countries in the world, adding that the Kingdom was able through the proactive implementation of recovery plans to overcome the crisis.
He said that the Government attaches great importance to the chamber’s active role in supporting the national economic and spur growth in the post pandemic period,
Al Zayani said that the Government has succeeded in mitigating the pitfalls of the pandemic and protecting jobs, looking forward to stepping cooperation with the coming BCCI board.
