RTA expands Traffic Incident Management in collaboration with Dubai Police
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in coordination with Dubai Police General HQ, announces the expansion of the Traffic Incident Management Unit project. By the end of 2024, four additional main road corridors will be integrated into the project, which will increase the coverage from 13 to 17 traffic corridors and streets. The expansion extends the total road covered by the Unit to 951 km in both directions. This step complements RTA’s ongoing efforts to achieve a set of targets aiming to minimise secondary accidents, enhance traffic flow, and expedite the clearance of vehicles involved in accidents in line with …

UAE-US non-oil trade surges to $31.4bn in 2023, says report
The volume of non-oil trade between UAE and the United States hit $31.4 billion in 2023, and is expected to continue growing at the same pace this year, reported Wam citing a top US official. The exports to the UAE reached $24.8 billion last year, exceeding 2022 exports of $20.8 billion, by 19%, stated Danny E. Sebright, the President of the US-UAE Business Council, adding that the UAE remained the top US export destination in the Middle East and Africa for the fifth consecutive year. 2.52 million new loans and credit cards in 2023: DG of Al Etihad Credit Bureau
The number of bank loans and credit cards issued by banks and financial institutions operating in the country increased by 3% during 2023 to reach 2.52 million contracts (loans and credit cards), compared to 2.44 million contracts in 2022, according to Marwan Ahmed Lutfi, Director General of Al Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB).
